In light of keeping up with my resolution to post more OG content ya'll are going to have to bear with me and stupid posts like these. This is what I did on the hungover morning of twenty two:

Drying arsenal : scissors, string, and push pins

Start with fresh roses warlords can surprise you with

Trim the leaves

Tie 3 stems together

& Hang in a warm dry place

Learned this trick of preserving sweet memories from my older sister who always had a plethora of dried bouquets from unanswered admirers. Still no CS5 on my mac, so I've been editing photos with picnik/iphoto hence the LQ :(

Early birthday gifts, to help me overcome the troublesome 22's fast approaching. The warlord got me apple care, and a MBMJ case to boot to protect my new baby from accident prone me. The case was in the same price range as Incases, and what I really liked was the plush faux fur lining, that added even further security. Ended up choosing the greyscale color way for trying to be mature, while the stardust logo keeps it whimsical.

Finally cracked my new moleskine for the new year!

First introduced to me by Shirley , I was really attracted to their simple design. Made famous by van Gogh, Picasso, Heminway, and Chatwin - every moleskine is hand made in a hard/soft black leather cover with rounded corners and include an expandable internal pocket, reminder stickers, and weekly pages covering a 12-18 month period. For 2012, I trimmed the fat and got the slimmer 12 month version and even with the soft leather cover it never deteriorated over a year of being jumbled in my back pack and hand bags. This will be my third moleskine I've gone through and I still love it, since planners have always been my most successful attempt at a diary or journal. I generally fill them up with never ending lists of to-do's, and quickly write what I did for the day, who I saw, and my general emotions for that 24hr period ranging from a ":)" to "FUCK THIS NOISE."

Moleskine not only makes planners, and ruled journals, but also sketch books, Wine keeping journals, useful travel city guides for Paris, New York, and Tokyo, etc. Check them all out here.

Last week, Olga and I ventured out to down town Willow Glen, for our second trip to Petroglyph, a "ceramic lounge". We were there to pick up our glazed and finished pieces from our prior trip and decided to paint more things we don't need. What Petroglyph provides are an assortment of blank ceramic knick knacks you can purchase such as coffee mugs, piggy banks, picture frames, vases and more. Then after a sitting fee, you are open to brushes, sponges, stencils, and a wide arrange of paint glazes. Employees offer quick tutorials on different painting techniques such as sponging, bubbling, and masking, and the atmosphere is bright clean and comfortable. Aside from the jarring amount of Christmas music, it's a fun neat place to let your creative juices flow and make personal gifts. Once we were done, we gave a quick hello to a friend in Peet's, and got our greek grub on at Opa with huge Gyros and their addicting Opa fries.

Sailormoon the original manga is getting reprinted after six mothafuckin' years.

It started with coming home from grade school, flipping through the channels and seeing a thirty second clip of some blonde chick in a sailor uniform kicking ass with sparkles everywhere and I was like WHAT THE FUCK WHAT IS THIS I MUST WATCH THIS. From there...it escalated to having the holographic velcro shoes, starting an extensive sticker collection, and buying the edible moon stick every time I heard the local ice cream truck within earshot. But the abridged anime was starting to take its toll on me (especially after the voice actress's change) so I moved onto the more intellectual level of my first fandom and began reading the manga with the original storylines. This resulted in spending the rest of my early internet surfing days on geocities fan sites and filling notebooks filled with embarrassing fan art. So ku-fucking-dos to Kodansha comics for the reprint and keeping the lesbian storyline as well as Japanese names intact.

I've never felt so much nostalgia in all these short of nothing twenty one years.
Also adamant about buying Britney tickets going on sale April 30th. Gonna party like it's 1999.

I'm a huge sucker for packaging...anything white with simple font always draws my attention first. So the other day after work I picked up four of these Siggi's in vanilla, blueberry, grapefruit, and pomegranate & passion fruit. A tradition in Iceland, Skyr is really similar to Greek yogurt when it comes to that natural tart flavor, but with a thicker consistency. It's healthy, has lots of protein, active cultures and is slightly sweetened with agave nectar. Nomz nomz nomz.

Alexander's Steakhouse with my boy. Been yearning to wear this H&M dress since Summer, and here was the perfect occasion! The boy specifically asked me not to "dress up" so that he in turn wouldn't be obliged to as well, but when do I ever listen to him anyways?

Alexander's is probably the first fine dine restaurant I've ever been to and it definitely left an impression. On a Tuesday night, the place was packed! Not an empty table in sight, full of what seemed to be families and dates enjoying special celebrations and of course corporate crooks shmoozin' on clientele. The lighting was very dim, and taking flash photos with my blackberry didn't seem to fall under the correct etiquette, but I sneaked some shots anyways before I meekly put it away and started grubbin. We started the night with Beef Tataki and the infamous Hamachi shots alongside some complimentary crisp birthday champagne. For our main course, boy got the 32 oz Dry Aged Porterhouse and I opted for the 6 oz Filet Mignon both prepared medium rare with sides of lobster mac n' cheese and truffle fries. Sorry for the literal depiction but unlike judges on reality tv shows I can't tell you how well the notes and textures symphonize with each other. I just eat. AND IT WAS ALL FUCKING AMAZING. I walked out almost skipping which seemed appropriate with their parting gift of Strawberry-Banana flavored cotton candy in hand. Can't wait to go back again!

Last night/early morning I found this photo while I was finally syncing new photos to my very long over due ipod. This is the window that hangs above my head while I attempt to sleep and welcomes in the cold air daily but refuses to keep warmth in. The roses are still there but brittle at the stem and the leaves have turned almost a burnt cream color. I realized I don't get enough natural light in my room these days, or I'm hardly home to witness it. Damn you California, are you finally developing this concept called seasons?

A recent misconception I laid on Shirley due to a post on Tumblr. Now, I've been through a lot of online blogging services... Freewebs/Geocities, Xanga, and Livejournal, but whoever invented Tumblr deserves to be stupid rich. It's ridiculously addicting, primarily a guilty pleasure, and has added fifteen more minutes of online scrolling on top of my google reader feed. But once you get past all the pubescent teenagers reblogging various typographic quotes about love, and how life is so hard, it's a nice innovative niche on the interweb to share, inspire, and apply every mean girls dialogue to any other movie. At first I made mine to be somewhat of an inclusive journal, somewhere where I could just rant and talk about embarrassing things for the joy of my own privacy and delete it later on. But now I've come to discern this as my outlet of writing and personal photos where as my Tumblr is for...reblogging. All I post there is photos of roses, lingerie, and white bedrooms, and yes your occasional typographic quote from Wilde or Bukowski (Stella!).

Disclaimer: this is going to be a literary post (rare).

i. I'm suppose to be posting T-Accounts and writing financial statements but here I am silently laughing whilst reading these new Q&A's posted by BoysLifeNYC. I've written about this blog more than once, and it's still persistently climbing up higher and higher becoming one of my daily reads. Maybe it'll even get it's own bookmark tab on firefox #notetoself. Anyways screen shot of a Q&A to entice you non-existent lurkers since I know how hard it is to click a link.

I have a firm belief if any of these were published in print, Cosmopolitan will lose all their magazine sales. I mean quite honestly it is a universal fact the love&lust columns is the only reason why women read Cosmopolitan which thus leads to men scratching their heads on why their girlfriends are judging them by what type of phone they have. Here you have real questions, real answers from a fairly a reliable source (in his 30's, still skates, listens to morrisey guy) and his sexist humor alongside it. Other than that there's still his original feature of life stories on dating inquisition besides the Q&A. Man I want to live in New York for a good year and scour the city in the AM.

ii. my new job consists of doing nothing while getting higher pay and gaining potential to be a street nutritionists. Really who needs med school when I have hippies and a floor to ceiling wall of dietary supplements? You got low blood sugar? Get yourself some Chromium! Weak hair and nails? B-Vitamins baby! We also sell interesting items such as "nipple butter" for breast-feeding mothers and "diva cups" which I will not even explain out of sheer kind courtesy.

iii. I love Kanye, I really do, I mean Ralph Lauren WAS really boring before he wore him but I do not get the hype over the 30+ min film "Runaway". Less dialogue, green screen, and awkward acting. More of Selita Ebanks bewbs, costume detail and Kanye looking all pensive please. My KPOP videos have more quality then that.

for those of you judging, my boyfriend has accomplished exploring kalimdor and other various regions in the world of warcraft to earn a explorers gem. He also takes pride in showing off his new gear such as capes and flying dragons, within five seconds of me walking through his door. Clearly we have a winner in who is the larger nerd.

I remember I use to stan Canon SO HARD. Because all I've ever used before an actual SLR was the Canon powershot series. But then my Achilles ankle of impatience wore thin and I ended up buying the first "professional" camera that came my way (thank you Richard Vo). My brother told me first hand that I was to be disowned for buying a Nikon. Now a year later he finally let's me play with his $20,000 worth of Canon equipment.

I could achieve this set up if I knew how to save...external flash & bracket I will have you someday! But for now the perfect leather thigh high boots are waiting to be found & purchased first.

Sometimes when I over hear people argue about which brand of phone is better in today's very much mobile dependent society, I want to tell them I'm pretty much hearing a conversation equivalent to twihards debating whether Bella should pick Jacob or Edward. So yes I know, there's these cellular appliances out there called the Iphone 4 or the Droid X that I could of purchased. But to be quite honest I was pretty content with my old curve, even in the cracked berry state it was in. Just had to follow Jay-Z's advice and upgrade all my accessories to black. Stay tuned to see me rollin up in Black cars & Black cards in the near future.

1) My hair is red! It took four hours to achieve and a heavy burden in my pocket but I don't care I'm never going back to box dye again.

I can't remember when the week started. It's been a fat rush of nostalgic trips to Great America, wasting hella money and flipping off the rollercoaster cameras, Monterey Bay Aquarium and Halibut with papaya-mango salsa, the season finale of Hell's kitchen, branding wars (where I just keep losing), Apartment warmings with Chardonnay & Blueberry Vodka from an alcohol dispenser, Andrews Birthday dinner with deeelish food, Wasteland for free thanks to the perks of being a FGR, a girls night in with Cabernet Sauvignon juice boxes, and finally up to present day a long night in San Francisco at Kelly's Mission Rock to be up front borderline on stage to see Steve Aoki. My ear drums are out, I think I still have champagne in my hair, I got the best video of Salem getting invited onto the stage with Aoki, and got a picture with him backstage. I miss school.
